we are now in Perth…the last days went quickly:

We made it! Well, let me start from the beginning. We had a good drive to adelaide along the great ocean road-stunning views of the 12 apostels, the arch and other nature wonders

After 2 days of driving and sightseeing we arrived in Adelaide-nice city of what I’ve seen so far!

We are off to Perth! Leaving tomorrow.Humphrey is all ready to go:

Have a few Anja-stories to tell:had a few relaxing days after Christmas. Housemate Lindsay discovered that Humphrey’s oil cap had gone missing and I thought I must have lost it when we refilled the oil the other day-as we all know loosing things is nothing new in my life.

haven’t written in a while as I was carried away with my everyday life routine.Hope everyone had a great Christmas…? I finished working last week Friday after a busy week-the weekend I spent looking for Christmas presents. The last few weeks I explored Melbourne a bit:

I just realized there is not much to tell because the daily life routine is back: Inga works in her cafe often in the afternoons and evenings and I enjoy looking after little Matthew every morning.And I pretty much feel like I am 19 again and in the States being an AuPair…just now people don’t necessarily see that I am the nanny: of course as I went for a walk with Matthew we accidentally ended up in a Starbucks (-: and I started talking to a guy who was there with his daughter who was in the same age as Matthew.

we are in Melbourne since 2 weeks now and are settling in slowly. Our flat is great and we enjoy the luxuries as well as the life with our flatmates.We spent the last 2 weeks getting our resumes ready, looking for jobs in the area, researching in the internet and so on.

now finally wome news again.Well, we bought our car and went through the procedure of registering, getting an insurance, mechanical check and so on. Richard gave us some tools, an extra wheel and a bunch of tips how to look after a car. We named our car Humphrey and now it’s 3 of us on our travels (-:

now the last week was very exciting-we spent the last days in Bombay sightseeing. Inga felt better and of course I ended up with diarrhea as well on our very last evening-great! but that became better soon with the help of immodium.
